In 2019, I was invited by Catherine Opie to serve as animation director for her Rhetorical Landscapes series—an ambitious, multi-channel installation that explored themes of American identity, nationalism, and mediated landscapes through a fusion of photography, sound, and collage animation. I led the animation process for each piece, translating Opie’s conceptual vision into dynamic moving images that played a central role in the emotional and narrative arc of the work.
